ایک اور روایت میں ہے کہ جب جمعے کا دن آیا، تو نبی ﷺ منبر پر تشریف فرما ہوئے۔ اس پر اس کھجور کے تنے نے ایک چیخ ماری، جس کے پاس کھڑے ہو کر آپ ﷺ خطبہ دیا کرتے تھے اور قریب تھا کہ وہ پھٹ ہی جاتا۔
ایک روایت میں ہے کہ اس نے بچے کی طرح چلانا شروع کر دیا ۔ اس پر نبی ﷺ نیچے اترے اور اسے پکڑ کر اپنے ساتھ لگا لیا۔ وہ اس بچے کی طرح سسکیاں بھرنا شروع ہو گیا، جسے چپ کرایا جا رہا ہو، یہاں تک کہ پرسکون ہوگیا۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ اس ذکر (سے محروم ہونے) کی وجہ سے رویا ہے، جسے یہ سنا کرتا تھا۔
In another narration: "On Friday, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sat on the pulpit, so the date palm tree that he used to stand by while delivering the sermon cried out until it almost split asunder."
In a third narration: "... so it cried like a child, and the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) descended (from the pulpit) and embraced it while it continued moaning like a child being quietened until it calmed down. He said: 'It was crying for (missing) what it used to hear of Dhikr near it.’"

نبی ﷺ نے کھجور کے ایک تنے کو اپنا منبر بنا رکھا تھا۔ جب آپ ﷺ نے اسے بدل لیا، تو تنے سے رونا کی آواز سنائی دی، کیوںکہ اب وہ اس ذکر سے محروم ہو گیا تھا، جو وہ سنا کرتا تھا۔ چنانچہ نبی کریم ﷺ منبر سے اتر کر اپنا ہاتھ اس پر رکھا، تو وہ پر سکون ہو گیا، ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نیچے اترے اور اسے پکڑ کر اپنے ساتھ لگا لیا۔ یہ خطبہ جمعہ کے وقت کی بات ہے۔
Explanation
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) took a trunk as a pulpit, and when he replaced it, he heard the sound and crying of that trunk over the Dhikr it used to hear. So, the Prophet descended and put his hand over it, and it calmed as a result. In another narration: "He descended and took it in his arms, and this took place during the Friday sermon."
