Explanation تشریح
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ بتا رہے ہیں کہ رسو ل اللہ ﷺ نے نجاشی کی غائبانہ نماز جنازہ پڑھی اور وہ خود ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جنہوں نے نمازہ جنازہ پڑھی تھی لیکن ان کو یہ یاد نہیں کہ وہ دوسری صف میں تھے یا تیسری میں۔اور یہ شک ان (جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ) کا ہے راوی کا نہیں۔
Explanation
Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) informs in this Hadīth that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer in absentia for the Negus, and he was amongst those who joined this prayer; however, he does not remember whether he was in the second or the third row, in case he is the one in doubt, and not a sub-narrator.
