وفي لفظ: «كنا نُؤمر أن نَخْرُجَ يوم العيد، حتى نُخْرِجَ الْبِكْرَ من خِدْرِهَا، حَتَّى تخرجَ الْحُيَّضُ، فَيُكَبِّرْنَ بتكبيرهم ويدعون بدعائهم، يرجون بَرَكَة ذلك اليوم وطُهْرَتَهُ».
ایک اور روایت کے الفاظ یہ ہیں: ”ہمیں حکم تھا کہ ہم سب عید کے دن عیدگاہ میں آئیں، یہاں تک کہ ہم کنواری لڑکیوں کو بھی ساتھ لے جاتے اور حیض والی عورتوں کو بھی۔ جب مرد تکبیر کہتے تو یہ بھی کہتیں اور جب وہ دعا کرتے تو یہ بھی کرتیں اور اس دن کی برکت اور پاکیزگی کو پانے کی امیدوار رہتیں“۔
In another version of the Hadīth: “We have been ordered to come out on the Day of Eid, even bring out the virgin girls from their houses and the menstruating women; so they would say Takbīr along with them, invoke Allah along with them; hoping for the blessings of that day and its purification.”

Explanation تشریح
عید الفطر اور عید الاضحی کے دن ان فضیلت کے حامل دنوں میں سے ہیں، جن میں اسلامی شعار ظاہر ہوتا ہے اور مسلمانوں کے ایک جگہ جمع ہونے اور مل مل کر کھڑے ہونے سے ان کے بھائی چارے کی جھلک ملتی ہے۔ ہر علاقے والے اپنے اتحاد، دلوں کی ہم آہنگی اور اسلام کی نصرت، اللہ کے دین کی سربلندی، اس کے ذکر کو قائم کرنے اور اس کے شعائر کے اظہار پر اپنی یک جہتی اور اتفاق کا مظاہرہ کرنے کے لیے ایک ہی میدان میں جمع ہوتے ہیں۔
اسی لیے نبی ﷺ نے حکم دیا کہ سبھی عورتیں یہاں تک کہ اپنے گھروں میں بیٹھی پردہ نشیں لڑکیاں اور حائضہ عورتیں بھی عیدگاہ کی طرف نکلیں۔ البتہ وہ نمازیوں سے دور کسی جانب رہیں، تاکہ وہ خیر اور مسلمانوں کی دعا میں شریک رہیں، اس موقع کی خیر و برکت سے بہرہ ور ہو سکیں، اللہ کی رحمت اور رضامندی حاصل کر سکیں اور تاکہ اللہ کی رحمت اور قبولیت ان کے زیادہ قریب رہے۔
عیدین کی نماز فرض کفایہ ہے۔
Explanation
The days of Eid al-Ad'ha and Eid al-Fitr are from the virtuous days of the year, on which the rituals of Islam become manifest, and Muslims brotherliness is demonstrated through their assembly and alignment on these days. Each country's people come together on a plain land manifesting their unity; solidarity and harmony; unanimously support Islam; raise the word of Allah (Islam); to establish the remembrance of Allah; and demonstrate its rituals.
That is why the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered all of the women, even the young girls who remain in their homes and the menstruating women, to exit with the Muslims and attend this assembly, provided that they stay away from the area of worship; to attend the great day and supplication of Muslims. They will obtain thereupon some goodness and blessing of that day, and the mercy of Allah and His pleasure.
Attending the two Eids' prayer is a communal obligation on the Muslims.
