Explanation تشریح
اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے ابو زید بن اخطب انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کے چہرے پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور ان کے لیے دعا کی۔ اس حدیث کی ایک روایت میں ہے کہ آپ کے دعا کے الفاظ تھے: "اللهم جمِّله، وأدِم جماله" یعنی اے اللہ! اسے خوب صورت بنا اور اس کی خوب صورتی کو تا عمر قائم رکھ۔ اس حدیث کے ایک راوی عزرہ کا کہنا ہے کہ ابو زید انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ ایک سو بیس سال زندہ رہے اور اتنی لمبی عمر کے باوجود ان کے سر کے محض چند بال ہی سفید ہوئے تھے۔ ایک اور روایت میں ہے: ان کا چہرہ کھلا ہوا تھا۔ اس میں نہ جھریاں تھیں، نہ سکڑاو۔,ان کے چہرے کى یہ حالت ت ان کی وفات تک باقی رہی۔ دراصل یہ سب کچھ ان کے لئے نبی ضلى اللہ علیہ وسلم کی دعا اور ان کے چہرے پر آپ کے ہاتھ پھیرنے کی برکت کے نتیجے میں تھا۔
Explanation
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the face of Abu Zayd ibn Akhtab al-Ansāri (may Allah be pleased with him) with his hand and supplicated for him. According to another narration, the supplication made by the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was: "O Allah, make him beautiful, and make his beauty lasting", meaning: O Allah, make his beauty last throughout his life. ‘Azrah, one of the narrators, said that Abu Zayd al-Ansāri lived for one hundred and twenty years, and only a few little grey hairs were visible on his head till his death. In another narration, it was reported that Abu Zayd’s facial skin was smooth and wrinkle-free until the last day of his life, thanks to the Prophet's blessed supplication and his wipe over Abu Zayd's face.
