عن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه قال: «أَمَرَنِي رَسُول اللَّهِ -صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم- أَن أَقُومَ عَلَى بُدْنِهِ، وَأَن أَتَصَدَّقَ بِلَحمِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَأَجِلَّتِهَا، وَأَن لا أُعْطِيَ الجَزَّارَ مِنهَا شَيْئًا».
علی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں آپ کے قربانی کے اونٹوں کی نگرا نی کروں اور ان کے گوشت، کھالوں اور جھولوں کو صدقہ کروں، نیز ان میں سے قصاب کو بہ طور اجرت کچھ بھی نہ دوں۔

‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) put me in charge of slaughtering his camels (which he wanted to sacrifice); and to give in charity their meat, skins, and saddle cloths; and not to give any of them to the butcher.

Explanation تشریح

نبی کریم ﷺ حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر مکہ کی طرف چلے۔ قربانی کے جانور ساتھ تھے۔ (اسی موقعے پر) علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ یمن سے آئے۔ ان کے ساتھ بھی قربانی کے جانور تھے۔ چوں کہ یہ فقرا اور مساکین کے لیے صدقہ تھے، اس لیے قربانی کرنے والے کو اس میں تصرف کرنے یا اس میں سے کچھ بطور معاوضہ دینے کا حق حاصل نہیں تھا۔ چنانچہ آپ نے انھیں ذبح کرنے والے کو بطور معاوضہ اس میں سے کچھ دینے سے منع فرمایا۔ بلکہ بطور اجرت گوشت، کھال اورجھول کے علاوہ کوئی دوسری چیز دی جائے گی۔

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) went to Makkah during the Farewell Hajj and he Hady (sacrifice). ‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) came from Yemen and also had a Hady. Since the Hady is a charity for the poor and needy, the giver has no right to freely use it or any of its part for exchange, as the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade ‘Ali from giving the butcher any of it in exchange for his work. Instead, he would provide him his wage from something other than their meat, skins, or saddle cloths.
