عن سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رضي الله عنه قال: «صَلَّيْت وراء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على امرأة ماتت في نِفَاسِهَا فقام في وَسْطِهَا».
سمره بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہوئے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے ایک عورت کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی، جو بحالت نفاس انتقال کر گئی تھی۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ اس کی کمر کے مقابل کھڑے ہوئے۔

Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I prayed behind the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the funeral prayer of a woman who died in her postpartum period, and he was standing by the middle of her body.

Explanation تشریح

میت پر نماز جنازہ پڑھنا مسلمانوں میں سے ہر مرنے والے کا لازمی حق ہے، چاہے وہ مرد ہو یا عورت اور چاہے وہ چھوٹا ہو یا بڑا۔ سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کر رہے ہیں کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے ایک عورت کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی، جو حالت نفاس میں فوت ہو گئی تھی۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ اس کی کمر کے مقابل کھڑے ہوئے۔

Explanation

Offering prayer over the deceased is a right that is due for every Muslim who dies; male or female, young or old. Samurah ibn Jundub says that he prayed behind the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the funeral prayer of a woman who had died in her postpartum period, and he stood in line with the middle of her body while leading the prayer.
