عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «والذي نفسي بيده، لو لم تذنبوا، لذهب الله بكم، وجاء بقوم يُذْنِبُونَ، فيستغفرون اللهَ تعالى، فيغفر لهم».
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! اگر تم گناہ نہ کرو تو اللہ تعالیٰ تم کو ختم کردے گا اور تمہاری جگہ ایسے لوگ لائے گا جو گناہ کر کے اللہ سے مغفرت طلب کریں گے اور اللہ ان کو بخش دے گا“۔

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose hand my soul is, if you were not to commit sins, Allah would replace you with people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty, who would then forgive them."

Explanation تشریح

نبی ﷺ اپنے رب کی قسم کھا کر فرما رہے ہیں کہ اگر تم گناہ نہ کرو تو اللہ تمہیں ختم کر کے ایسے لوگ لے آئے گا جو گناہ کرنے کے بعد سچی نیت اور یقین دل سے توبہ کریں گے تا کہ وہ انہیں بخش دے۔

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) swears by his Lord that if people did not sin, then Allah would replace them with people who would ask for His forgiveness after committing sins, with a sincere intention and a heart filled with certitude, so that He would forgive them.
