تین سپہ سالار زید بن حارثہ، جعفر بن ابی طالب اور عبد اللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہم یکے بعد دیگرے شہید ہوئے۔ پھر خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ نے جھنڈا سنبھالا اور لشکر کو بحفاظت واپس لائے۔
Three commanders, Zayd ibn Harithah, Ja'far ibn Abi Talib and Abdullah ibn Rawahah, were martyred one after another. Khalid ibn al-Walid then took the banner and brought the army back safely.
