انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ تین سانس میں پانی پیتے تھے۔

Explanation تشریح

نبی ﷺ جب پانی پیتے تو اس دوران تین دفعہ سانس لیا کرتے تھے بایں طور کہ پی کر برتن اپنے منہ سے الگ کرتے پھر دوبارہ پیتے، پھر برتن کو اپنے منہ سے الگ کرتے اور پھر تیسری دفعہ پیتے۔ آپ ﷺ برتن میں سانس نہیں لیتے تھے۔

Explanation

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to breathe three times in the course of a drink. He would drink one time and take the container away from his mouth. He would then drink for a second and take it away, and he would do the same for a third time. He did not breathe into the container.
