اے اللہ ! میری مغفرت فرما، مجھ پر رحم کر اور مجھے رفیقِ اعلی میں شامل کردے۔

عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ، قالت: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إلَيَّ، يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وارْحَمْنِي، وأَلْحِقْنِي بالرَّفِيقِ الأَعْلَى».
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو جب کہ وہ میرے ساتھ ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھے یہ دعا مانگتے ہوئے سنا: ”اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وارْحَمْنِي، وأَلْحِقْنِي بالرَّفِيقِ الأَعْلَى“ اے اللہ ! میری مغفرت فرما، مجھ پر رحم کر اور مجھے رفیقِ اعلی میں شامل کردے۔
‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) saying: while reclining on me: "O Allah, forgive me, bestow Your mercy on me, and join me with the exalted companions."

جب رسول اللہ ﷺ کی وفات کا وقت قریب آیا تو آپ ﷺ اُم المومنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا کر بیٹھ گیے اور آپ ﷺ اپنے رب سے دعا کر رہے تھے کہ وہ آپ ﷺ کو رفیق اعلی کے ساتھ ملا دے۔ رفیق اعلی سے مراد انیباء، صدیقین ، شہداء اور نیک لوگ ہیں۔
