شدید گرمی اور تنگی کے زمانے میں آپ ﷺ تقریباً تیس ہزار کا لشکر لے کر رومیوں کے مقابلے کے لیے تبوک گئے، مگر رومی مقابلے پر نہ آئے۔ عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے لشکر کے بڑے حصے کا سامان دیا۔
In great heat and hardship he led about thirty thousand to Tabuk against the Romans, who did not come out to fight. Uthman equipped a large part of the army.
